Terms of Use
Last updated: July 16, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of missionassist.digital and our free tools, content, newsletter, and related services (the “Services”), operated by Tomorrow Labs LLC (“Tomorrow Labs,” “MissionAssist,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
Who we are
MissionAssist is a brand of Tomorrow Labs LLC, a company based in Portland, Oregon, USA. We help mission-driven organizations with digital strategy, websites, data, and applied AI.
The free tools are informational
Our free tools — including the Website Grader and the Nonprofit Digital Readiness Scorecard — are provided for general information and educational purposes. They run automated checks and produce results and suggestions “as is.” They are not professional, legal, security, accessibility-compliance, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional’s review. Automated results can be incomplete or wrong, and a grade is a snapshot in time, not a guarantee about your website. You’re responsible for verifying anything important before acting on it. Please also see our Disclaimer.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- submit a website address to the Website Grader unless you own the site or are authorized to test it;
- use the Services to attack, overload, probe, or disrupt any website or system, or in any way that would violate another party’s rights;
- submit other people’s personal information without a lawful basis to do so;
- attempt to circumvent our rate limits, bot protection, or other technical safeguards, or to scrape, overload, or abuse the Services;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the Services or their output; or
- use the Services for anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive.
We may suspend or block access to protect the Services or other users.
Your submissions
You keep ownership of the information you submit (such as a website address or your responses). By submitting it, you give us permission to process it to provide the Services — for example, to run the audit, generate your report, and email it to you — as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit what you provide.
Our content and brand
The Services, including the site’s text, design, reports, articles, and the “MissionAssist” and “Tomorrow Labs” names and logos, are owned by Tomorrow Labs LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to use the Services and to use your own results for your organization’s internal purposes. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute our content or brand without our written permission.
Third-party services and links
The Services rely on and may link to third parties (for example, Google’s PageSpeed Insights and Cloudflare). We don’t control those services and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
Paid services are separate
Descriptions of paid engagements — such as Digital Clarity, Capability, Capacity, or the Cohort — are for information only and are not an offer or binding contract. Any paid work is governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work that we sign with you. Nothing on this site creates a client relationship by itself.
Payments and refunds
Some offerings can be purchased directly on this site (for example, a seat in the Cohort). Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe; we don’t receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars, and you are responsible for any applicable taxes.
The specific refund and cancellation terms presented to you at the time of purchase apply to that purchase. As a general matter, for a live Cohort seat we aim to offer a full refund if you cancel a reasonable period before the cohort begins; once a cohort has started, refunds are limited. For custom engagements — Digital Clarity, Capability, and Capacity — payment schedules and refund terms are set out in the separate written agreement or statement of work we sign with you (see “Paid services are separate,” above). If something goes wrong with a purchase, email hello@missionassist.digital and we’ll make it right.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We don’t warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be complete or correct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tomorrow Labs LLC and its owners and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tomorrow Labs LLC from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
